I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota. I've been told its a computer issue but I was wondering if there was a quick fix like pulling a fuse or something. But when the truck is shut off the clock will keep going and the door locks with constantly lock and unlock. So if the truck is not running for a long enough period of time the battery will die so it has to be disconnected . Im starting school next week and thats not very convient for me to pop the hood and unhook the battery every time i go to school and hook it back after and dont really have alot of money to fix it. If not what is the issue and about how much will it cost to get it fixed?

Do you mean the clock in the radio stays on after the ignition switch is turned off? Will the radio play with the ignition switch turned off? Is it the original radio? If it is, remove it and disconnect it, then see if the problems continue. If that solves the problems, it would appear the radio is shorted between the two power wires. One is on all the time for the station presets and clock memory, and one is switched to turn it on from the ignition switch.
