Window washer operation

2001 dodge grand Caravan, Front and rear windshield washer motors are not working, fuse was blown, changed fuse and it started to work but there was a small amount of smoke coming from left front headlight area, and possibly inside, a strong electrical smell was inside and under the hood as well.
The fuse is good but no washer operation again.

The wiper motor sounds like it is shorting or the wiring to it. Check to see if that is where the smoke is coming from. It is under the hood, driver's side, mounted on the firewall.
