need help

I have a 2001 dodge grand caravan had a computer ran on it and it says that the transmission circuit board is wide open and cant be smogged til it is fixed can you tell me how i can fix this problem without spending alot of money?
it has a rebuilt engine but nothing was done to the transmission

An open circuit means there is a broken or disconnected wire. Check the wiring harness to the TCM and from the PCM to make sure no pins are collapsed, corroded, or damaged. Other than that, you need to follow the harness looking for corroded or broken wires.
