Hello guys, I have a 2001 Nissan altima with 76K miles. I read the owners manual and the manufacturer recommends 5w-30 oil viscosity. I recently made an oil change and the mechanic used 10w-40. He said you use recommended motor oil depending on the vehicle’s mileage. Is he right? Should I be using motor oils different from the recommended ones?
