my 2001 dodge sratus turns over and starts for a minute but then shuts off

when i go to start it it turns over engine makes a little noise but it will start up and shut off right away and i can not figure out what the problem could be

need to check the fuel pressure and spark. one of them is failing.

Do you really mean a full minute or does it run for about one second and quit? When you have a running problem, please state the engine size. It's very relevant.
