I have a 2001 Daewoo with 73k miles. On Sunday the car started and drove fine in the morning, then that afternoon i started the car and the sound was so loud. Almost like those cars with the loud mufflers on them. This was really odd cause it was fine earlier and nothing led up to the noise. It was very sudden. I hadnt run over anything, i only drove highway that morning. I did notice a small oil leak so i thought maybe the car was very low on oil. Could the car not having enough oil cause a very loud start up and run? I did put more oil in Monday morning and still this morning the start up and drive is loud. I only drive a few miles to work each way. Any ideas?
