my citreon diesel c5 turbo dies when going up hill but works in third gear and at 3500 revs. What could the problem be As I said the cars turbo only works at 3500 revs and in third gear

Check fuel pressure, get the waste gate checked it may be faulty and bleeding boost pressure.
