The instrument cluster, A/C, radio and CD lights (all dash lights) sporatically flash from bright to dim when driving at night in my 2001 Town and Country. I performed a bite check and no error codes came up. Most of the time the light switch is left in the A position. Any suggestions on what might be causing thie problem?

Thanks!

Check that the alternator charge rate is not to high, i will look at the schematics and see if there is a voltage stabiliser for the cluster.

I am not familar with how to perform that check. Do I place the negative probe on the + terminal of the battery and the positive probe on the B terminal of the alternator?

Basic test B+ alternator neg to earth, run at idle and at 1800RPM approx, do with no load ands with load, ie, heater blower on and high beam on.
