Hi. I really need some help. a few weeks ago, I installed a new stereo. It works fine as well as the lights, heat, etc. However, now none of my instrument panel gages work--odometer reading gone and says NOBUS ( NOBU5?) where the spedometer reading should be. Also, the compass still works but trip meter, etc doesnt give a reading either. As an added bonus, when I drive at night, the panel intermittently lights up (particularly when I hit the turn signal lol).

ive checked fuses both inside and under hood and nothing is blown. What are some other possibilities?

The NOBUS indicates there is a break down of communication between the PCM and the circuits it controls. Check wiring at the PCM for loose or corroded connections.

Thanks for taking time to answer. Where is the PCM located?

I'm trying to remember where they were in 2001. Check under the kick panel on both sides of the inside and check under the hood. Check under the hood first.
