2001 Chrysler Sebring Gas smell

Everytime it's cold my car smells like straight fuel but once it's warmed up the smell goes away. What could this be?
I brought this in before but they couldn't see or smell anything, before I brought it in I seen a leak above the fuel rail. Other then that leak seen no others.

check th orings on the fuel rail where lines attach it may be leaking and giving you the smell

I haven't seen any leaks up there yet this year. Is there a way I can get rid of this smell. Can I switch my heater to a different nob that won't cause the smell to be so strong?

no unless something is stuck by the font of your windshield that has that. you might check for a smell on carpet on car it may be that you can shoot febreeze through the vent in front of windshield when blower is working but it has to be leaking someplace to give a gas smell cause it shouldn't do that.

Also one more question why would this smell only happen when the car is cold? In cold weather? I've been trying to figure that out.

because if yo have a poor sealing O-ring it would shrink then as engine heated swell up
