Do you mean any other brands or any other Chrysler product? There's no way a GM or Ford engine will bolt up to or work in your car. Your car never came with a 3.8L engine, so you aren't going to make a Chrysler engine work in there either. If you had bothered to list your engine size and it's a 2.7L, I can tell you that a 3.5L will bolt up and work with the same Engine Computer, but I don't know all the other details. Chrysler has always been famous for good parts interchangeability. They also made a lot of really tough engines over the years. The 2.7L isn't one of them.

If you have the 3.0L, that's a Mitsubishi engine and is pretty reliable. Stick with that one but I don't know if a 3.0L from other Chrysler car and minivan models will bolt up the same. The people at most salvage yards should be able to answer that.
