2001 Chrysler Sebring emissions

I got a p0443 on my sebring.I replaced the canister valve solenoid.I reset the computer with a scan tool but the light came back on like 3 minutes later and has stayed on. Any suggestions

Have you checked wiring to the solenoid? Most often, there is a problem with the harness. Check to make sure the solenoid is clicking when actuated. If it isn't, remove the plug and check for power with the key on. If there is power, run a jumper to ground to see if the solenoid clicks. If it does, then there is a ground issue. If there is no power, you need to start looking for broken wires, bad pins in the connector, corrosion.

Trace the wiring harness to see if there are any rub marks that could be causing a short or open circuit.
