my car runs hot sometimes I thought it maybe the thermostat need to be replace but as I let up yet hood of the car I notice the fan on the right was not working. The car was blowing out excessive white smoke while it was runnig hot. I did not check the left fan to see was that working property.could this be a motor fan blow out or thermstat issues or comtrol resister issue.

white smoke is an indicator of a head gasket. the damage is already done.

i would not drive it till the car is repaired.
