2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser red light solid won't start

Red light is solid!!!! help please!!!!!its a 2001 pt cruiser 167 000miles got it with a bad timming belt i have two of these cars same year my daily driver the small light comes on the goes right off!!!great but this one the light comes on then off for a split second then comes right back on solid!!!!help help

Have the codes read at a local auto parts store (Orielly"s , Autozone, etc., They'll do it for free). Then post the codes here for more help. By the way, a "bad timing belt" will cause the check engine light to come on.
