Hi, car overheats, radiator full of coolant and clean, can get the cooler fan to kick in, have replaced the fan, the heat sensor, thermostat, replace relays 2 (one low) (1 High), had the car diagnostic fault shows as been the relays, have changed them but still the fan does not kicks in and the car keeps overheating, the question is: is there any other that needs testing or replacing to get the fan to kick in, many Thanks Peter from London England.

Have a chemical test performed to see if a cylinder head gasket is leaking. The combustion gases can pool under the thermostat and prevent it from opening.

Try the chemical test and see what the results are. Another possibility that I saw in a friends PT Cruiser was the water pump. The care was the same age as yours, ran great but ran a little hot. When replacing the timing belt we tried to turn the water pump it was almost completely frozen, im surprised that this car was running as good as it was having almost no bearings left in the pump. Its possible that your bearings are also starting to wear and coolant is not cycling though your system with enough flow to aid in the cooling of the engine.
