Honking, locking and unlocking randomly

My 2001 pt cruiser is honking on its own, locking and unlocking randomly, and constantly says there is a door ajar. Any ideas on what could be wrong and about how much it would cost to fix?

I'd fix the door ajar and see if that takes care of issues.

Have the sentry key immobilizer module and remote keyless entry module checked and tested

It started with the locking. Its done that for aver a year. The honking started shortly after that. The door ajar is new. Started 2 days ago. But ever since that started ive had to jump my car everyday. I never had to do that before. I already took the horn out and all the dome lights. Lol. I took it to my mechanic and he was completely dumbfounded. All he could think is that it might be the brain. Is there a way to disconnect the security and remote keyless entry?
