Hello,
For the past week, I have noticed when I would accelerate, my van seemed to "misfire", so I slow down and it drove fine. Was driving last night and as I was traveling up hill, the van seemed to lose power via gas petal. I continued to press petal and van just died. I do have gas in van but also run fuel to empty tank quite often. When I coasted to stop, I attempted to restart. When I turned key, it sounded like it wanted to start, but it wouldn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

Joy:
It sounds like the fuel pump may have gone bad. You need to check the fuel pump pressure. If you go to our homepage under the DIY section there is a video and directions about how to check pressure. The only thing you will need is a fuel pressure gauge. Most nationally recognized parts stores will lend you one.

See if you can check that and let me know what you find.
