SAW THIS 1ST HAND TODAY ON ANOTHER CHRYSLER VEHICLE

SEEMS SOME ENGINEER SOMEWHERE DECIDED TO "PULL" THE WATER PUMP OFF OF THE TIMING CHAIN

IT WORKS!

BUT NOW THE "NOSE END" OF A TRADITIONAL PUMP PULLED BY AN EXTERNAL BELT

. IS NOW TURNED AROUND BACKWARDS AND INSERTED INTO THE BLOCK

THE TRADITIONAL PUMP WOULD NORMALLY START LEAKING FROM A "WOLLERED OUT " FRONT SEAL---IN ALL HONESTY THE BELT TENSION CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN. DUE TO IT SORTA LEVERING DOWN ON THE SHAFT

IN THE CASE ABOVE----THE WATER WOULD LEAK EXTERNALLY AND YOU WOULD HAVE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO SEE IT---IF YOU DO WHAT YOUR OWNERS MANUAL SAYS. CHECK YOUR OIL AND COOLANT LEVEL WEEKLY!

NOW---BACK TO THE "SUPER ENGINEERING FEAT"THIS PUMPS "SNOUT" IS IN THERE WITH THE TIMING CHAIN----THE CHAIN INSIDE IS DOING THE "LEVERING"

WHERE'S IT GONNA LEAK?

. YOU ARE SO RIGHT!

INTO THE ENGINE!

CHECK YOUR DIPSTICK---MILKY OIL?PULL THE OIL FILLER CAP. LOOK LIKE SNOT ON THE BACKSIDE?

I COULD BE WRONG ABOUT YOUR SITUATION----BUT I DID GET TO SEE THIS SCENARIO TODAY!

KEEP US POSTED
