What could cause huge vibrations when applying the breaks and while driving down the road?

So every time I apply my breaks there is a slight screeching sound with lots of vibration. What could be causing that? Unbalanced tires or something else??

warped rotors. they need to be replaced and then be easy on the brakes. they warp from overheating and that is a driver issue.
