I put a new battery in the car now and I got it started once, but when I turned it off the battery drained instantly, and now I have no power at all unless it hooked up to the charger, and when I hook it up it will start, then when I take it off it will stall, also I put a rebuilt starter in it yesterday, and a rebuilt alternator last winter, I have no clue why its not getting any power at all, im going to take the battery cables off and clean the corrosion, what could it be?

There are a few things you can check;

Test the voltage under load of the battery. The battery should read 12V sitting. Have someone start the vehicle and the voltage should not move much. If the the voltage drops dramatically, the battery is bad.

The fusible link could be corroded or failed.
Check all fusible links in the underhood faue/relay box. If any of them, especially the main one, look corroded, clean or replace. Check and make sure the wires coming into the fuse/relay box are tight and corrosion free.
Check the connections to the alternator by tugging on wires, if safety allows, to see if it makes any diffence. Check them for fit and corrosion. You might want to test the alternator as well.
