2001 Chevrolet Tracker 4 Door Zr2 Model That Turn Off Ignition Parking

I have a 2001 Chevrolet tracker 4 door ZR2 model. My problem is that when a turn off the ignition the parking and dash lights stay on. I have to disconnect the battery to keep it from going dead. I've already replaced the head light switch on the steering column. What could it be?

I would suggest checking the ignition switch. It may be the problem.
