What do the 3 wires go to on the mass air flow sensor

I,m trying to put a JET air flow relocator on and it has a tan wire and a black wire the plug has 3 wires tan w/blk stripe , blue w/blk stripe and purple w/white stripe witch wire go to what

The instructions say take black, tan or tan w/black stripe out of old plug on tracker and install in new plug with kit. new plug is 2 wire old is 3 wire and has tan w/black stripe, blue w/black stripe, and purple w/white. I took tan w/blk and hooked to tan and blue wblk to black and drove 1/2 mile and blew 15 amp fuse under hood. Not sure witch to try next?

boy those are lousy instructions? does it say there is a difference in # of wires? any luck contacting maker or a forum about it's products?

When i ordered it it states it's for a 2.5 v6. contacted Jet and got a foriener he said i hooked it up right.So I'm kinda on my own. The origanal mass air sensor is bad took to a shop and is dealer item only way to get is buy whole throttle body. I've searched the scrap yards and cant find one so i thought this relocator would be the way to go.
