The sensor was changed and the pick up tube and the o ring the pan had metal shavings and gunk in it it still has the tapping noise coming from the engine my mechanic said it was a big job to replace the oil pump. He didn't want to tackle it because it would be expensive hope you can help lorene

YES, CHANGING AN OIL PUMP IS AN INVOLVED JOB

SORTA, WHAT KINDA OF A SHOP DID YOU TAKE IT TO?

HOW EXPENSIVE DID THEY SAY IT WOULD BE?

WAS ANYTHING ELSE MENTIONED ABOUT WHERE THE SHAVINGS CAME FROM?

DID YOU DRIVE THE VEHICLE WITHOUT OIL PRESSURE?

ARE YOUR STILL DRIVING IT?

DEPENDENT ON YOUR ANSWERS I MIGHT POSSIBLE SUGGEST A LESSER EXPENSIVE MECHANIC/ OR INFO ON FINDING ONE IN YOUR AREA

YOUR TURN
