2001 chev. silverado 1500. no illumination in drivers door switches. all switches still work fine. pass switches illuminate. none of the switches illuminate on drivers side door lock, mirror, windows.

Chances are the light (non replaceable) is bad. You can remove the switch to check for wiring problems, but chances are you will find none. The switch will need replaced if you want the light to work.
