2001 Chevrolet S 10 Truck Won T Start Run Unless Pull Coil Wire Out Place On Top

Truck won't start or run unless I pull the coil wire out of the coil and place it on top so that the spark arcs.. while running if I replace the wire into the coil the truck dies.. replaced the coil but still the same result..

check the cap and rotor. et the rotor has a small hole in it
