2001 Chevrolet S-10 Starting my truck

I am trying to figure out why my truck starts up easier cold than when its hot. I go out to start it in the morning to go to work and it starts right up. But if I stop at the store on the way, I have to crank it a couple of times to get it started. What could be causing this?

check fuel pressure when warm should be 60-66 psi if lower that is your problem. If pressure is ok then scan for codes.

Thank you for the advice. I am going to go by the shop tomorrow morning and have my guy do the test for me. A couple of guys at my work suggested that I change out the fuel filter. What is your opinion on this?

se what the fuel pressure is first cause if you need a pump change it then. it's always good to replace it though.
