hard starting after it sits 10 or 15 min. after driving it. i put a new fuel pump ,plugs &wires , cap & rotor, ignition coil ,new ignition module , new vaccum lines checked fuel pressure 60psi when key is turn on . and drops to 55psi after started. so good pressure.

if it's a 4.3L it should be 60-66psi while idling then shut truck off and leave gauge connected it should not drop more than 5 psi after 10 minutes.

put fuel pressure gauge and turned key on and got 59psi after a hour it drop to 45psi went to turn key on and psi didn't go back up it stayed at 45psi . so i repeated the samething and the psi went up this time . So i have a bad fuel pump your ignition switch. p.s. the wires on the fuel pump have good connection.

first what engine then go from there if it is a 4.3 you need to check the fuel pressure regulator it is under the top part of manifold. sounds like that is bad
