2001 chevy s10 4.3l v6 is running rough and misfirering #6 cylinder after new plugs,cap and rotor

Truck died driving on highway and wont start again. but sounds like it wants to turn over. towed it to a mechanic and they replaced the plugs,cap and rotor. they said it was mifiring in #6 cylinder and is running rough. possible full injector failure or internal malfunction.HELP!
