when you switch from any gear in to drive it drops hard in and kinda slams the car why would it be doing that is it the tranny. i have a 2001 chevy malibu automatic and when you switch from park or reverse or neutral in to drive its almost like it drops in to that gear hard so hard the car shakes in place and its like the engine just fell out some have said its a sensor and other say the tranny im not sure what it is can u help me?
