Replaced intake gasket on 01 chevy Malibu now wont start it sounds like it wants to start but it wont catch like its getting gas but not enough. took off the plenum to oversee and double check if maybe i forgot to connect any connectors everything was connected.

checked for fire with ignition tester its getting fire dont know what else to do haynes says the ignition timing is not adjustable and i see that it doesnt have a distibutor so i thought it shouldnt be that hard im stumped

Have you checked the fuel pressure to confirm there is a fuel pressure?

no i dont have a pressure gauge to test it but there is plenty of fuel that shoots out the fuel rail at the bleeder valve would that tell me or prove that there is pressure?

It could be low. Most parts stores will lend or rent a gauge to you.

ok so i checked the fuel pressure it was good at 55psi i found that the fuel injectors are getting power from the battery but no getting a ground where do i look to find or check the ground on the fuel injectors
