I have filled the coolant up to the specified level but the light remains lit. How do I get it to turn off? The coolant in the tank before isn't dirty.

What would I be looking for? There isn't anything that's been leaked to the ground.

The level sensor is inside the coolant tank and they do get stuck of go bad. If you are sure it is full now or if you have filled it recently, the float could be stuck. Try rapping on the tank with a large screwdriver handle. If that doesn't help, the sensor is probably bad.
