Just wondered if you could explain the role of tailshaft pretensioners on the drivetrain. I have a Holden SS utility (chevrolet 5.7 litre gen3 engine) and I am getting a vibration on takeoff.
cheers

have you checked the universal joints at both end of the drive shaft? have another person push the gas and brake at the same time and watch the rear tires to see if they rotate any while the car stays still. they'll basically lift the back end of the car. thats a problem with the rear suspension or traction bars
