I slid my drivers seat up for cleaning and now it would not slide back. Only one side is sliding back - so the seat is sliding back at an angle.
The car is 2001 Chevy Impala 6 cylinder

That means that either the rail got bound up because of moving into an area it rarely goes or the drive cable for that side has broken. Get out of the seat to take the weight off and see if you can help it along from the outside.

I went under the seat, nothing is tangled and tried to move it along manually, but to no avail

The alternative is to replace the whole track mechanism so you may want to try again.
