Trying to remove the rear drums on my car but the brakes are still fully pressed against the drum. I tired activating the parking brake and releasing but no luck. There are no rubber plugs on the rear of the drum to access the adjustment wheel, where would it be located and how would I access it to release the brakes enough that the drum comes free.

Are you able to at least turn the drum? If so, take a hammer and smack the drum between the lug nuts a couple times to see if that loosens it. As far as the adjustment, it is done when the drum is off. Most likely, you have a ridge worn into the drum that is catching on the brake shoes.

Let me know.
