why do my dash gauges go on and off

my gauges turn on and off and then turn completely off theres no specific time when it happens and when they do turn off i have to tap gauges to come back on recentely had my radio changed also

Check for loose or disconnected grounds. Make sure the wiring under the dash to the cluster is tight.
