I have power windows in my cadillac. My driver side window rolls down but does not roll up. What could be the issue. Nothing is wrong with the passenger side window only the driver side has this issue can you help me solve this issue?

The fact the window goes down proves the motor and wiring are okay. That leaves the switch. GM often does some strange things like add unneeded relays to complicate the assembly unnecessarily, but without a diagram to look at I can offer some generalizations relevant to most other car brands. There are actually four switch contacts in the driver's switch. Two are turned on when the switch is at rest. When you press the "down" function, one turns off and the third one turns on. When you press the "up" function, one turns off and the fourth one turns on. The first one or the fourth one could be burned or pitted.

Suspecting the switch assumes you don't hear any sounds from the motor when you try to run it up. The additional clue, especially if the engine is not running, is the interior lights will not dim very slightly when you press the "up" button. If the lights DO dim a little or you hear evidence of the motor struggling, a cable on the window regulator may be frayed or the rubber tracks the glass slides in may be gummed up with bug juice and road dirt. Silicone Spray Lube will solve that.
