Is there a check engine light on? It could be result of faulty TPS, or possibly a vacuum leak. A not so obvious area for a vacuum leak is the plenum boot between the intake and throttle housing, this usually splits on the lower portion, and intake pressure changes can change the characteristic of the leak.
