My OBD scanner states that the O2 sensor on bank 1 sensor 2 is bad. I know that the sensor is the one located downstream, but which side is bank 1? Driver or passenger. Your help would be a life saver. Thank you

The V8 BMW motor has bank one on the right side, the inline six, bank 1 is the front 3 cylinders.
