I bought a new front axle assembly for both sides , my problem is I can't get the new ones to set .

The retailers tech Dept said it's the correct ones , the original ones just seemed to snap in , I even used the old clip on the new one . Common sense would tell me the original ones were worn in so thats why they fit , all the videos I've seen shows the new ones popping right in ?

no, they need to be greased up, then started. with a brass hammer or rubber mallet. they need to be hit into place.
