I am assuming the light is on continuously and cannot be extinguished, is this correct? If so there may be a problem in the traction control system. It could be software related or it may be a sensor issue. Whatever it may be, the car will need to be scanned for faults, preferably with the proprietary BMW software, to uncover the root cause. Worst case is the DSC module has an internal fault and will require replacement to extinguish the warning lamp. Have that done straightaway and repost with your results. I have a source for a known good used unit, if needed.
