2001 Bmw 330ci Just Replaced Clutch Put Everything Back Together Transmission

Just replaced clutch, put everything back together. Transmission leak between bell housing and engine. Could it be i over filled it a little? Do i let it drip and drain how it is? Looks like the fluid is in the bell housing coming out.

either rear main oil seal or the front seal of the trans.

have it checked???
