hello
I have replaced the upper radiator hose but i didn't buy it from the dealer
its brand is Mayer the problem is that this hose after driving a while gets tooooo hard an hot i feel it's going to explode the lower hose gets hot but not too much so there is circulation i think the temp gauge is always dead center there is no overheating
what could be the cause please
and I want to tell you I live in Kuwait and the outside temp is usually between 40-49c

i would start by looking at the cap to verify it is releasing pressure at the correct time. do a leak down test to verify head gasket as well
