Of course it's replaceable, they wouldn't be rude enough to make you buy a whole crank, would they?

What engine?
The oil pan needs to be removed, and the front crankshaft seal "flange housing" to gain
access to the drive gear.
You'll need a puller to pull the gear off of the crank and something to knock the new one back on.
