my rear light has just started to stay on even when keys out,have to disconnect it,tested wire and found it live all the time and warning light saying bulb gone when it ok

the drivers side rear light stays on all the time brake light comes on and off ok, i have to disconnect it,tested and found wire lve all the time,would this be the body computer or some thing simple
