Stuck in park until override button pressed, brake lights not working?

Thanks Ken. I will check the high mount brake light when the shop reopens on Monday. When I took the car in, I do not believe that the third light was working. If it is not working, what will that mean? Thanks

P.S. I just called another Acura shop to see if they'd take a look if I moved the vehicle. They said they'd have to re-test everything that was already looked at and then go from there. Minimum diagnostic $206/hr. And the place is 25 miles from home, further than the current shop. So, I have some thinking to do once I find out for sure about the third brake light. Thanks.

Good morning, Ken. The third brake light does not come on. Flashers, turn signals, regular headlights and taillights do. Everything else about the car works just fine. I picked the car up yesterday from the shop and sold it the same night for more than I paid for it four years ago. I still had the repair bill, but they reduced the final amount. Overall, it's a bummer because we're out an otherwise decent, old car, but at least it sold. Thanks so much for all the help.
