2001 acura tl engine revving...200000 miles, transmission replaced at 100000 miles...does this mean i need a new transmission now?

The engine revving and slowing down has nothing to do with the transmission in park or with the brakes applied. Sounds like u may need a tune-up or you have a vaccum leak.

Is the CEL on? Could be a bad IAC Valve.
