alternator bolt

the alternator mounting bolt is broke and a pieces of bolt is still in the mount on the engin.so how can I take off the pieces of bolt is it someway to take it off the alternator mount separate or is it mounting on the whole engin body.. thank ..

My manual doesn't show how it is mounted only the break down of the alternator. I am not sure how yours is, but on many I have taken off the bolt sticks out the back side of the mount. So you can take a pair of vice grips and twist out the back. If you don't have access this way then you will need to drill and tap it out. Make sure you start with a small bit and work your way up to a larger size so don't try to drill out too much at one time and DON'T break a bit off in it Then take a tap and pull it that way.
