2000 Volvo S80 Timing Belt Tensioner Broke Car Stopped Running Shop Confirmed

The timing belt tensioner broke, and the car stopped running. My shop confirmed no compression in one of the cylinders. With the timing belt aside, I'm able to completely turn each camshaft without any hitches in the turning. It seems unlikely that I wouldn't have any bent valves, but wouldn't the camshaft provide an indication?

no, it is an interference motor. if only one cylinder has no compression, that is amazing.

the head still has to come off and new valves installed.
