I have a 2000 Volvo S70, non turbo. When I turn on the A/C, it runs cold for a few minutes, then gets cool and then warm. If I turn the A/C off for a few minutes and then turn it back on, the air is cold, but the pattern repeats itself. What is wrong and what do aai need to do to fix it?

Does it get warm when you are at a stop say sitting at a stop light or while you are driving

While driving. It seems to be a function of time, not engine speed. Although I have noticed that sometimes it will stay cold for quite a while (10 - 15 minutes) befoe it starts the cycle again.

The times it stays cold seem to be while on the highway, not local streets.

The AC system could be freezing up or the air blend door actuator is acting-up and malfunctioning HVAC control module
