2000 Volkswagen Passat gas and temp gauges

Both gas and temp gauges stop working at the same time I was driving. Can you help me with this problem

My best advice to you is to take to a shop so they can read the data stream to determine what the ECM is reading from these two sensors. Other than that you could remove the cluster itself and check the connections. Unplug and replug them. Check the gauges
